Mooncakes are one of the coolest desserts available in China with a rich history engraved in Chinese culture. This cherished delight is a bakery product that was typically eaten during a Mid-Autumn festival, celebrated by many. The festival was an appreciation for the moon and incorporated a night event of watching lunar patterns and has been widely regarded as one of the most significant festivals in China. The baked good is typically offered among friends and family as a delicacy. The round pastry is often about ten centimeters long and four centimeters thick, and has a thick filling comprised of yolk from duck egg; a customary gift for the businessman as well.
