Another majestic town in Europe missed by many tourists is the beautiful Konjic in Bosnia and Herzegovina. A lofty settlement amongst rugged mountainous terrain and dense forest makes for a natural feel amongst the town. Solidified as one of the oldest permanent residing destinations in Bosnia, Konjic has been around for nearly four thousand years. A population of approximately twenty-six thousand makes for a close-knit community with plenty to do and see. Not to mention, sitting at 268 meters above sea level, the view here is unmatched and sure to make any globetrotters stay worthwhile.
