3. San Francisco

Next up is San Francisco, a gorgeous destination highly regarded for its national park and beautiful bridge, though it has also earned a reputation as a shopping hub. This city is rich with culture and, of course, high-end shops. Westfield and Union Square are both close to each other and combined, make for an almost overwhelming day of shopping. Each is home to large chain stores and high-end retailers offering lower prices to drive traffic all year. Chestnut Street is another must-see spot in this phenomenal city, but be prepared to drop some serious cash. Lined with a mixture of sophisticated shops, beauty shops, and restaurants, Chestnut Street is great for fun and heavy on the wallet. San Francisco's Chinatown is, of course, always a popular destination with plenty of opportunities to try fresh fish due to the nearby harbors. It is also architecturally picturesque because of the renowned ornate lamp posts and Pagoda roofs that present an authentic Asian feel.
