Aspen, Colorado offers a rich shopping experience that is less about glitz and glamour and more about high-quality homey products. Pitkin County Dry Goods is a great example and has been a gathering point for locals in Aspen since doors opened back in 1969. Capturing Aspen shopping perfectly, Pitkin offers boutique designers to mix a sophisticated look with the casual of Colorado. Aspen is a small town, of course, it is not common for small towns to attract stores like Prada, Dior, and Gucci. Although Aspen is becoming more and more of a box chain stop, the city does well to maintain local shops that offer the true value of impressive small town consumerism.
