Muskoka makes for another one of the top-quality destinations for retiring and is located in Northern Ontario, Canada. Known for the great outdoor life and numerous bodies of water and forested areas, the environment here is perfect for those that have plenty of time in their days to explore. Favorite activities up north for those that are retired would be golfing, hiking, boating, visiting the tremendous excellent dining destinations and joining one of the many community clubs to remain actively engaged with the region. Muskoka, however, does receive bitter winters which are plentiful in snow and ice, perfect for snowmobiling and ice fishing, but can make for a long winter. Costs here are quite expensive for housing, but residents will not be disappointed with the quality of life that is associated with such expenses.
